Dental Implants

Dental implants are used to replace missing teeth and is the preferred treatment option for many of our patients due to their comfort and good long-term stability.

For a single missing tooth, it removes the need for our patients to wear dentures, as well as eliminate the risk of injury to adjacent teeth with other treatment alternatives. In addition, multiple dental implants are becoming increasingly popular to replace or help securely retain full dentures, as it allows our patients to chew and eat better and more comfortably.

Not all dental implant surgery training is the same!

The important surgical placements of dental implants at Perth Central Dental Centre are performed only by our registered dental specialist (Periodontist) to provide you with the best possible outcome. Specialist Periodontists undergo an additional 3 years of extensive and intensive full time post-graduate training at University in order to provide the ideal surgical placement and importantly, the continued management and maintenance of your dental implants in the future.

The comprehensive training allows our specialist Periodontist to utilise the knowledge and skills gained to recognise and inform you of potential problems before starting a procedure. Proven and tested techniques are used to overcome most surgical problems, delivering a predictable and successful result for most patients.

Our Specialist chooses only to use dental implants that are extensively tested and well documented in research literature with excellent long-term results.
